My job here is to help you find the Best Deep Fryer for your needs and that is why I continue to bring you new deep fryer reviews. Sometimes though it’s good to remember that it’s not always about the fryer, it’s about what you are putting into it.

As much as I enjoy fried food, I found that I was making the same things over and over again: french fries, fried chicken, and batter dipped fish. Obviously there is a lot more that you can do with a deep fryer than these three dishes. So I went in search of the best fried food cookbook! Here is what I found:

Fried and True: Crispy and Delicious Dishes from Appetizers to Desserts

Fried and True is one of the coolest fried food cookbooks. Its 144 pages of deep fried goodness. It’s filled with great recipes that will remind you of when you were allowed to just enjoy your food and not be guilted into eating only very healthy dishes without any of that amazing flavor derived from frying something. Fried and True also has great information on selecting which kind of oil to use and batter recipes as well as different frying techniques based on what you are frying. This is probably one of the best deep fryer cookbooks but there are other worthy entries as well.

The Fearless Frying Cookbook

Checking in at quite a bit longer than Fried and True with 224 pages is The Fearless Frying Cookbook from chef John Martin Taylor. Taylor is known largely for his expertise in southern cuisine and who knows more about fried food than people in the South. There are 125 mouth-watering recipes in The Fearless Frying Cookbook and that may have you wondering how he manages to create 224 page book with only 125 recipes. The answer is that Martin goes even more in-depth with cooking technique so while the book gives more than enough recipes to satisfy even the biggest fried food lover, the reader will also be equipped with the knowledge to go beyond what the book offers and create their own recipes.

The Ultimate Fryer Cookbook

If Southern food really isn’t your thing though perhaps The Ultimate Fryer Cookbook (Quintet Book) by Wendy Sweetser would be more to your liking. Within the 160 pages of this book she’s compiled frying recipes from all over the world. The Ultimate Fryer Cookbook (Quintet Book)can be a wonderful addition to your kitchen that will help expand your frying horizons and allow you to discover new recipes that you hadn’t
even thought possible before.
